"The Flosse quartet (...) wants to make it clear that they hardly care about conventions, norms and rules. On the other hand, it also shows what an anarchistic joy it can be to play with these conventions, norms and rules. (...)"

Playful and experimental, chaotic and amiable, FLOSSE crosses musical boundaries and tries to question established conventions anew. They combine the acoustic sound of a quartet without a harmony instrument with influences from modern jazz, avant-garde and indie.

Rhythmic complexity and improvisation contrast with sensitive, ballad-like melodies and at times sheer boundless ecstasy.

With playful ease, wit and improvisational joy, virtuosity, humor and jazz tradition are combined in an entertaining way.
