Info...

Max Diller is a trumpeter, jazz musician and composer from Germany.

Born in 1996 in the Black Forest, as the youngest of five children, he was soon fascinated by music and improvisation and started playing the trumpet at the age of eight.

At the age of 14 he became member of the Youth Jazz Orchestra Karlsruhe "The Hip Herd" and shortly after that of the Bavaria State Youth Jazz Orchestra (Ljjb).

In 2015 he spent six months in Jamaica, where he gave music lessons and band coaching to children and young people from the Inner-City Communities in Kingston.

From 2016 - 2021 Max Diller has been studying with Sebastian Studnitzky and Prof. Malte Burba at the "Carl Maria von Weber" College of Music in Dresden.

In spring 2021 he founded the band BLOSSOM, for which he composes his own music and which gave their debut concert at the "MusikZeit" festival in July 2021.

He performs with various projects and formations Germany-wide and internationally and has already given concerts in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Jamaica.

As part of the "CI Community Project" and a founding member of "Habitable Records", he has been collaborating with different artists* around the world since 2020 to create a common, international platform aimed at exchange, equality and musical research.
